Crisis Planning, Exercises & Response

Two men talking while looking at a table

Every organization has vulnerabilities and risks that can threaten their existence. Preparing for the most likely and worst-case scenarios is the difference between chaotic or disciplined response. There are no silver bullets, but there are ways to plan and prepare that work.

Over the years I have counseled clients preparing for or experiencing crisis situations. The industries included:

  • Aerospace and Defense
  • Food Processing
  • Chemical Manufacturing
  • Military and government organizations
  • Non-profits

My approach is to

  • Review or perform a vulnerability and risk assessment for your organization
  • Review current plans
  • Provide feedback on existing plans
  • Work with leadership to revise or build a plan
  • Conduct simulation to pressure test the plan
  • Collaborate with the organization to revise the plan based on simulation
  • Schedule regular updates and exercises
